KYC-Know Your Customer

Many of the products available on our site our regulated by CDSCO, Govt. of India. Hence as per the rules and regulation given by CDSCO the sale of these regulated products are restricted to authorized personnels only. To enforce these guidelines, KYC process will be enforced (in case regulated products).

Each regulated product listing will contain a heads up message for the buyer to inform him/her about the KYC requirements. After placing your first order, you(buyer) will receive further instructions from our support team to complete the KYC process via E-mail.

Apart from the basic user details collected during the checkout process, below are the documents necessary to complete the KYC process smoothly**.

For Business firms placing an order on Surgimedex.In

VAT/CST/GST* Registration certificate of the business entity/TIN Number (Subject to verification at our end)

Drug License certificate

For Hospitals placing an order on Surgimedex.in

Hospital’s registration certificate

For Doctors placing an order on Surgimedex.in

Doctor’s Registration certificate

**Only applicable in case of regulated medical products. All these documents are to be E-mailed on info@Surgimedex.in

*GST applicable after its implementation i.e. Q2 FY 17-18

In case a buyer fails to provide KYC documents in a reasonable time frame^, we will be forced to cancel the transaction and refund the transaction amount after deducting the transaction processing fee of 2.5%.

^Usually the standard wait time provided to customers for submission of KYC documents is 7 working days but in case a buyer asks for more time the same will be provided on a case to case basis.
