Surgimedex Star — Programme Terms

Who can join

The Surgimedex Star Membership Programme (“Programme”) is open to registered users of surgimedex.in aged 18 years and above, holding a valid Indian delivery address.

Membership is personal, non-transferable, and single-account. Corporate accounts (with GSTIN) must nominate one primary user.

Fees, GST & auto-renewal

Membership fee is ₹299 per year plus applicable GST (currently 18%). Total ₹353 at signup, charged to your saved payment method.

Membership auto-renews annually unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. You will receive an email reminder 7 days before renewal.

Star Point accrual

Rate: 6% of net cart value (after all coupons and discounts, excluding taxes and shipping) is credited as Star Points.

Timing: Points are credited 7 days after delivery, once the return/replacement window closes.

Monthly cap: A maximum of 10,000 Star Points may be accrued per calendar month across all orders. Points beyond this cap will not be credited.

• Only Surgimedex Star members earn points. Non-member orders do not accrue points retroactively.
• Membership fee itself is not eligible for point accrual.
• GST, shipping, COD handling and platform fees are excluded from the earning base.

Value, FIFO order, minimum & cap

Active membership required. Star Points can be redeemed at checkout only while your Programme membership is active and paid. Members-only prices and all other Programme benefits are similarly gated to active membership status.

Lapsed members: if your membership has expired, accumulated points remain in your wallet (subject to the 2-year expiry rule) but cannot be redeemed until you renew. You may add renewal to your cart at checkout — if accepted, member benefits including redemption apply to that same order; if declined, the cart is recalculated at non-member pricing.

Redemption value: 1 Star Point = ₹0.50 discount at checkout.

Minimum: 100 Star Points required to initiate any redemption.

Maximum: Up to 10% of order value (pre-tax, pre-shipping) may be paid using Star Points on any single order.

Order: Points are redeemed on a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) basis — the oldest available points are spent first.

Star Points hold no monetary value outside the Programme, are non-transferable and non-refundable in cash.

Point adjustment on refunds

Points accrued for an order are held during the 7-day return window and only credited to your wallet once the window closes.

If any item in a delivered order is returned, replaced or refunded, points accrued against the refunded amount will lapse proportionally. If points have already been redeemed on a subsequent order, Surgimedex may adjust future accruals to reconcile.

Two-year sliding expiry

Each batch of points expires 24 months from its issuance date, regardless of membership status.

Expired points are non-recoverable. Members receive an in-app reminder 30 days before any batch expires.

Cancelling your membership

You may cancel at any time from Account → Star Membership → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; membership fees are non-refundable once utilised.

Unused Star Points remain redeemable until their individual expiry dates, subject to Programme terms remaining in force.

Anti-abuse measures

Surgimedex reserves the right to suspend accounts, cancel memberships, void points or reclaim redeemed value where it detects fraud, abuse, multiple-account operation, misrepresentation, exploit of pricing errors, or violation of these Terms.

Accrual patterns that indicate resale or non-personal use may result in immediate suspension without notice.

Warranties, indemnity & limits

The Programme is provided “as-is”. Surgimedex, its affiliates, partners, directors, employees and agents make no warranty, express or implied, regarding uninterrupted availability, accuracy of point balances, or continued economic value of the Programme.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, aggregate liability of Surgimedex under this Programme shall not exceed the membership fee paid by the member in the preceding twelve (12) months.

Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless Surgimedex, its owners, partners and affiliates against any claims arising from misuse, breach of these Terms, or violation of applicable law by the member.

Modifications, notice & jurisdiction

Surgimedex reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Programme, alter earning rates, redemption values, caps, expiry rules or any other term, at its sole discretion, with reasonable prior notice via email or in-app notification.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. All disputes arising out of or relating to this Programme shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi only.
